We all know that packing for a vacation can be stressful [especially for us bloggers because we have to strategically piece together each outfit for our shoots] but I have compiled up a list of travel essentials while vacationing in a hot spot to help you out!
A Classic Floppy Hat
They are perfect for keeping those UV rays off of our faces and are super stylish. I can’t get enough of my custom made hat from Hats by Olivia. She will pretty much design anything that you create, you just have to request it! Take a look here at my custom HOC hat!
Simple Wedges
It doesn’t matter what season it is, I don’t travel without a pair of wedges. They can be easily dressed up when paired with a dress , or you can throw them on with a pair of shorts for a more casual look. Either way, they are the most comfortable heels to wear -I even had them on while watching the bull riding at Buffalo Chip Saloon in the sand and dirt.
Maxi Dress
It doesn’t get more classic than a long black maxi dress. I like to tie a knot in the bottom of mine, it keeps it from dragging and it looks super chic! Toss on a pair of sandlas and a jean jacket for a more causal day look, or put those wedges on and rock it in the evening. Either way, your golden!
A Sexy One Piece Suit
It is no secret that one-piece swimsuits are making a major come back. Cute cut outs, strappy sides, and those little details are what make them so fun! You have to pack one of these if your going to be by the pool on your vacay.
Shades
Sunglasses make every outfit look effortlessly cool, plus they keep the sun out of your eyes. Its a win-win situation!
Small Handbag
You have to have a big bag for travelling, thats just a given! But for those evenings you will be spending out for dinner or at a bar, a cross-body bag is a must! I love them because they feel secure when the strap is across you versus a clutch in your hand, and they are still on trend.
Flip Flops
No explanation needed for this one!
Jean Shorts
It’s not really summer until you throw on your favourite pair of denim shorts. Toss on a white boyfriend tee and a plaid shirt wrapped around your waiste and you are good to go! This look is super cute for a country concert and I may have been reppin’ it at the Florida Georgia Line tour in Phoenix a few weeks back!
There you have it! Those are the main things that are always with me when I am travelling [besides my passport, of course!] I would love to hear what you can’t travel without. Comment below, and I hope everyone has a fab weekend!
